Accompanying Person(s) - Explore Niagara

Registered Accompanying Persons will receive as part of their registration a Niagara Falls Attraction Pass to explore the city’s top 4 attractions!

Maid of the Mist

Maid of the Mist Water rushes all around as you “soak” in the excitement and explore the roar of the Falls. A historical ride aboard the world-famous Maid of the Mist is a half hour thrill of a lifetime! North America’s oldest tourist attraction, millions of visitors have enjoyed the boat tours since 1846. A powerful diesel-engine boat takes you from the Canadian docks past the base of the American Falls, and then into the basin of the magnificent Canadian Horseshoe Falls. A recyclable souvenir raincoat is provided free with admission to help keep you dry from the mist and spray.

Journey Behind the Falls

You’ll experience the awesome spectacle of one-fifth of the world’s fresh water crashing down 13 stories to the basin below. Every second during summer daylight hours, over 2,800 cubic meters of water thunders over the rim at 65 kilometers per hour. In the spring and summer months, you’ll receive a free souvenir biodegradable rain poncho as protection from the mist of the Falls. Elevators descend 170 feet through bedrock to tunnels that lead to the Cataract Portal and the Great Falls Portal which is one third of the way behind the massive sheet of water, then on to the Upper and Lower Observation Decks at the foot of the Falls.

Niagara's Fury: Creation of the Falls

The temperature will drop 20 degrees. Water will bubble and spray while snow falls all around. Standing in the mist on a massive platform you will feel the full wrath of Mother Nature as the floor tilts and trembles beneath you. You’ll never look at the Falls the same way again! Niagara Parks has recreated the amazing sights and sounds of the Creation of Niagara Falls. Incredible images produced with technology previously used in satellites and medicine will immerse you in a “4D” Universal Studios-style attraction. The experience starts with an 8 minute animated Pre-show, where charming woodland characters explain how the Ice Age formed Niagara Falls. Then, in a specially designed, 360 degree theatre, witness the Creation of the Falls in a 6-minute, multi-sensory extravaganza.

White Water Walk

At White Water Walk you will be captivated by the ballet of waves, spray and crashing water.  Descend into the Great Gorge via elevator and walk through a tunnel to the railed boardwalk that provides an easy woodland stroll along the banks of the rushing river. Take photos with the ancient gorge as a backdrop and experience the massive forces of nature.
