Conference History

This will be the 11th combined meeting of Bird Strike Committee USA and Bird Strike Committee Canada.  Previous separate meetings of the two organizations have occurred over the last decade throughout the U.S. and Canada. 

Presentations have included papers, posters and demonstrations on wildlife control techniques, new technologies, land-use issues, training, engineering standards, and habitat management. These presentations have all contributed to an enhanced awareness of the bird hazard issue.

This opening event on Monday evening provides a warm welcome to all delegates who will attend the Bird Strike 2009 Conference. With plenty of fun and food, delegates will enjoy this opportunity to network and mingle.
